Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [09.07.2026]

These Terms and Conditions govern the appliance repair services provided by Kalamalka Appliance Repair (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you (“the customer”) in Kelowna, Vernon, and the surrounding Okanagan area. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

We provide diagnosis and repair of household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves and cooktops. Services are provided on a mobile basis at the address you supply when booking.

Diagnosis and Quotes

Before any repair work begins, our technician will diagnose the fault and provide you with a price. Work only proceeds once you approve that price. A diagnostic or service-call fee may apply where a repair is not carried out; this will be communicated to you in advance.

Pricing and Payment

Prices quoted are for the specific repair described and are confirmed on site before work starts. Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise. We accept [list your accepted payment methods].

Parts

We use quality replacement parts. Where a required part must be ordered, we will advise you of any expected delay. Ordered parts may be subject to a deposit or a non-refundable charge; this will be explained before you approve the work.

Access and Safety

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance. We may decline or pause work where conditions are unsafe, where the appliance has been modified in a way that prevents safe repair, or where required utilities are unavailable.

Warranty

Completed repairs are covered by our workmanship warranty as set out in our Warranty Policy. The warranty covers the specific repair carried out and does not cover unrelated faults or new issues that arise after our visit.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of food, spoilage, or loss of use, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of British Columbia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time you book applies to your service.
